I am against using animal parts for anything unecessary! Just a thought on JetBlue's seats - Cow hides are used from slaughterd cows that are used for food - if you are a vegetarian that is no samll comfort - however, since these cows have been slaughtered, is it not best to use the hides for something rather than let them rot away? Should we not use the hides so at least there is no waste of these precious animals? We have no control over the slaughter of these animals because man will never give up eating meat - so that the animals did not die in vain (other then for the meat) why should we not use ALL PARTS so ther eis no waste of this animals life? You are aware there are many other products we as consumers use that are made from animal by-products? As much as I would prefer not using these animal products the alternative maybe polluting or planet with oil products that do not degrade - that also opens up the damage that petroleum products cause to our envirnement. No matter how you look at it - somehow, somewhere there are negative impacts no matter what we use or how we use it - it is the lesser of two evils.
