The passive solar thing is a really amazing thing that I'm discussing with my buddy Ziggy on some ideas for future houses, but it is really challenging to incorporate a lot of it into current structures so I think I need to find a new house :-) p.s. can you find the incorrect units in the 51 things? check out #30 about shutting off your computer "watts a day" is a meaningless unit, they would have been fine just saying "watts" as it is a measure of rate and based on my testing their 60-250 watts for a computer is reasonable. I really like many of the 51 things they suggest.
